I'm taking over from Freya Waley-Cohen as the next associate composer at NightMusic, a wonderful concert series at St David's Hall, Cardiff. I've been a few times and I overall love Cardiff having spent time there for a few reasons including the Peter Reynolds Composer Studio with Vale of Glamorgan Festival. I'll be programming a few concerts a year for NightMusic and writing new music for some of them, and I'm v excited for it.More about the series here.

The Solem Quartet have programmed my Be nice to see you on their debut album, out in a week. The album is structured around Thomas Adès' great The Four Quarters, and I'm up alongside some of my fav composers. Check it out, pre-order here.

Joseph Havlat's recital at the Bishopsgate Institute, on the theme of Resist!, is now online, featuring four pieces by me and music from Rzewski, Michael Finnissy and Isabella Gellis. Watch online for free here
